The Center for Neuropsychology and Learning, PC (d/b/a Ann Arbor Therapy & Testing) is notifying clients whose information may have been impacted by a recent data security incident. The security of personal information is important to us and we want to ensure that clients are aware of this incident and the resources available to them.
What happened?
On November 10, 2025, we discovered that our server was accessed by a threat actor sometime during the time period of October 14-31, 2025 and that the server stored some types of personal information. Types of information contained on the server included name, contact information, date of birth, service type, and/or test report. The server did not store social security number, financial information, or therapy notes.
What is being done to address this situation?
Upon becoming aware that this event occurred, we took immediate steps to investigate the incident, remediate the threat, and ensure our data is secure. We are providing affected individuals with access to credit monitoring services at no charge. These services provide alerts for 12 months from the date of enrollment when changes occur to an individual’s credit file, and include proactive fraud assistance to help with any questions or in event of fraud. These services will be provided by Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in fraud assistance and remediation services.
How to enroll for the free services?
To enroll in credit monitoring services at no charge, impacted individuals should follow the instructions in the letter they received or contact our call center at the number below for enrollment instructions. In order to receive the credit monitoring services, you must enroll within 120 days from the date of this notice. The enrollment requires an internet connection and e-mail account. Please note that when signing up for monitoring services, you may be asked to verify personal information for your own protection to confirm your identity.
What can I do on my own to protect my identity?
If you believe you were affected by this incident, you may also wish to do the following:

Also, should you wish to obtain a credit report and monitor it on your own:
- Obtain free copies of your credit report and monitor them upon receipt for any suspicious activity. You can obtain your free copies by going to the following website: www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling them toll-free at 1-877-322-8228. (Hearing impaired consumers can access their TDD service at 1-877-730-4204.)
- Upon receipt of your credit report, we recommend that you review it carefully for any suspicious activity.
You can also obtain more information from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) about identity theft and ways to protect yourself. The FTC has an identity theft hotline: 877-438-4338; TTY: 1-866-653-4261. They also provide information on-line at www.ftc.gov/idtheft.
