At Ann Arbor Testing & Therapy, Mr. Kabbani takes a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy—helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while building resilience, improving self-esteem, and fostering personal growth. His clinical work focuses on areas such as trauma, stress and crisis management, executive function training, emotion regulation, body positivity and impulse control. Mr. Kabbani tailors each session to fit the unique needs of his clients, using evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Education & Work Experience

Mr. Kabbani earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan and his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Michigan School of Psychology. His clinical experience includes years of working both in outpatient facilities & partial hospitalization programs, a clinician competent in providing individual, family, and group therapy for all individuals above five years of age. These settings deepened his passion for helping people who are experiencing difficult life circumstances and are ready to work toward meaningful, lasting change. Mr. Kabbani has also worked for a significant amount of time as a clinician specializing in executive function training and has seen firsthand how structured interventions around time management, prioritizing and decision making can significantly improve a client’s daily functioning and self-efficacy. As an executive function coach, he strives to help clients break tasks into manageable goals, teaches them how to assess urgency versus importance and helps them reflect on their thinking processes to cultivate stronger planning habits and more intentional behaviors.
