She utilizes evidenced based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Amanda enjoys working with clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship and believes this is the foundation to making real and lasting change.

Education & Work Experience
Amanda is a fully Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan- Flint in 2011 and her Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University in 2012.
Amanda has worked with children, adolescents, and families in the residential, home based, and inpatient settings. Amanda has received specialized training for Infant Mental Health and Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends. For a hobby, she enjoys sewing and is currently learning how to quilt. Amanda and her husband have one son and recently became foster parents!
